Follow these simple instructions to get the most out of your new candle

Why bother investing time into candle care? If you do take a moment to read and follow these guidelines, your candle will burn more safely and it will last longer. So we think it's worth taking note of these candle care tips!

  • Burn your candle until the melted wax gets close to the jar edge each time your burn it, especially on the first burn

  • Don't burn your candle for longer than four hours at a time to prevent the container getting too hot

  • Trim your wick to around ½ cm before lighting your candle each time with wick trimmers or scissors

  • Place your candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface so that it can't tip over or damage your furniture

  • Be sure to keep your candle away from kids, pets, draughts and flammable items like curtains

  • Once the wax in your candle gets down to a depth of around 1 cm, it's safest to stop using it
